Written as a poem at the 2014/15 Woodford Folk Festival and turned into a song shortly afterwards. The simple arrangement belies a powerful song.

I am brimming with sadness
Waves of grief crash on my brow
Not mine to keep just a custody

Overflowing with sadness
Like salted rain it trickles down
